PG Diploma Course in Tea Science & Management
for the session 2006-2007

Educational Qualification: B.Sc, B.Sc(Hons.) with at least 45% marks in all the examination passed/ B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. (Forestry) B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering). Candidates should preferably be proficient in English spoken and written, with good health and sports background. Preference will be given to the candidates having technical, academic background in allied sciences and/or having professional experience.

Age limit: Upper age limit is 30 years which is relaxable for the candidates serving to Tea Industry provided such candidature is recommended by the appropriate authority.

Course fee: Total course fee Rs. 20,000.00 (non-refundable) payable in two equal installments: (i) Rs. 10,000.00 at the time of admission and (ii) Rs. 10,000.00 at the time of admission in 2^nd semester.

Application procedure: Prescribed application form can be obtained from the office of the Registrar, UBKV on payment of Rs. 250.00 in cash. Form may also be collected by post by sending a demand draft drawn in favour of "Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya" on any nationalized bank payable at Cooch Behar with enclosing a self-addressed envelop (10" x 6") affixing postage stamp of Rs. 20.00 on all working days between 12.00 -16.00 hrs. from 22.5.2006.

Last date of submission of form: Within 15 days after the date of publication of results of H.S. Examination of WBCHSE this year (2006).

Date of interview and admission: 20.07.2006 at 12.00 noon.

Accommodation: On payment basis, if available.

Hostel admission fees: Rs. 1,100.00 + Monthly meal charges
