      Applications in prescribed forms are invited from candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Vocational Agriculture with above combination as elective subjects and securing at least 60% (50% for SC/ST and PH candidates) marks in aggregate of above mentioned three subjects for admission to 4 years’ B.Sc.(Agriculture) Hons. and B.Sc.(Horticulture) Hons. Courses for 2008-2009 session. However, candidates from Vocational stream must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in the H.S. examination. The candidates appearing in Vocational in Agriculture Stream at 10+2 level this year may also apply for collection of form. The candidates must attain the age of 16 years or above as on 01.06.2008. Application form with prospectus may be obtained from :~

(a)	Registrar's Office, or
(b)	Regional Research Station, UBKV, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, or
(c)	R.R.S, Majhian , P.O. Patiram, Dist. Dakshin Dinajpur, or
(d)	United Commercial Bank, Belgachhia Branch, 64/1, Bellgachhia Road, Kolkata-700037

on all working days between 12.00-16.00 hrs. from  02.06.2008 on payment of Rs. 200.00 (two hundred) only  for general category and Rs. 50.00 for SC/ST and PH candidates in cash/Bank Draft for each course. A service charge of   Rs.10.00 for each form will be imposed if   collected from the centre under (d)) Form may also be collected by sending a self-addressed envelope(10"×6") with postage stamp of Rs.25.00 to the Registrar along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 (or Rs.50.00 as the case may be) drawn on any nationalized Bank payable at Cooch Behar in favour of 'Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya'.
