      Applications in prescribed forms are invited from candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Vocational Agriculture with above combination as elective subjects and securing at least 60% (50% for SC/ST and PH candidates) marks in aggregate of above mentioned three subjects for admission to 4 years’ B.Sc.(Agriculture) Hons. and B.Sc.(Horticulture) Hons. Courses for 2010-2011 session. However, candidates from Vocational stream must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in the H.S. examination. The candidates appearing in Vocational in Agriculture stream at 10+2 level this year may also apply for collection of form. The candidates must attain the age of 16 years and above as on 01.06.2010. Application form with prospectus may be obtained from :~

(a)	Registrar's Office, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar or
(b)	Regional Research Station, UBKV, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, or
(c)	Regional Research Station, Majhian, P.O.- Patiram, Dist.- Dakshin Dinajpur

on all working days between 12:00-16:00 hrs. from  17.05.2010 on payment of Rs. 200.00 (two hundred only) for General category and Rs. 50.00 (fifty only) for SC/ST and PWD candidates in cash for each course. Form may also be collected by sending a self-addressed envelope (10"×6") with postage stamp of Rs.25.00 to the Registrar along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 (or Rs.50.00 as the case may be) drawn on any nationalized Bank payable at Cooch Behar in favour of 'Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya'.        The applicants have to submit attested copies of mark sheet of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination, Admit Card/Certificate of Madhyamik Exam., SC/ST/PWD certificate, Character Certificated issued from the Head of the Institution from where he/she has passed last examination, Residential certificate from competent authority and one copy of passport size photo along with the application form failing which his/her application liable to be cancelled.

      The University reserves the rights not to admit any candidate if so decided by the Admission Committee.
