TENDER NOTICE

        This university is inviting quotations from the Registered Security Agencies for providing security personnels (armed persons and without arm) on contractual basis in the University at Pundibari Campus. Information in details may be collected from the office of the Registrar, UBKV at Pundibari. Interested agencies may quote rate category­-wise within 18.07.2008 up to 3.00 p.m.

        The Agencies are to produce Registration Certificate and Clearance Certificate of P.Tax, Income and other Taxes along with their quotations.

        The quotation must be accompanied with an earnest money of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees three thousand) only (refundable in case of unsuccessful bidders) in the form of D.C.R. drawn on any nationalized bank.

        The successful agency will have to deposit a sum of Rs. 30,000/- as security money in the form of demand draft in favour of "Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalya" drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Cooch Behar at the time of making contract. The same will be refunded after the expiry of the contract period.

        The agency shall have to supply the necessary uniform shoes, torch light, distinguishing badges and other necessary articles to the security personnels to be engaged for the purpose.

        The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning any reason whatsoever.

TENDER NOTICE
CORRIGENDUM

            In partial modification of our earlier Tender Notification vide No. Admn./UBKV/310 dated 02.072008 some additional informations are considered essential for more clarity and full-proofness with reference to the earlier one. Acceptance of quotation submitted by any bidder shall be decided on the basis of fulfillment of all such requirements as prescribed hereunder.

1. The bidders shall have to quote wage rate of security personnels with due consonance of the stipulated minimum wage rate as per provision of Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolution) Act 1970 and West Bengal Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolution) Rules 1972 for the purpose of engaging security personnels (armed person and without arm) on contractual basis in the University at Pundibari and outstation campuses as and when required.
2. The Agencies are to produce Registration certificate, and clearance Certificate of P.Tax,     I.Tax and other taxes alongwith the quotations.
3. Mere submission of minimum wage rate shall not be the only criteria for consideration of any quotation.
4. Those who have already submitted quotations need not apply further. However, they may submit necessary papers as per the informations given in this notification.
5. Last date of submission of quotations has been extended upto 7^th August, 2008 by 3.00 p.m.
6. The sealed envelop containing quotation must be superscribed with the words "quotations for security personnels" on the top corner of the envelop.

                        Other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.
